PLN’s can definitely boemce time consuming. The key is to work out what works best for you so that it as you say controllable’. @Sue W Yes I think my PLN is very similar to last year. However there were a few design flaws in last year’s survey that I’m hoping have been corrected for this survey.@Sarah Almost exactly a year. Last year’s survey was designed on 1 October and introduced to the world on 2 October (typcial pedantic scientist). Time has flown and career-wise our situations have both changed considerably. @Darren Elliott As we change as do our needs which is why it’s common to restructure the connections in our PLNs. There are lots of people I know who twitter just doesn’t work for. Perhaps that is the best part of PLNs the fact is it is about what works best for you. For some Twitter is their most important part of their PLN while others find Second Life their most important. @Valentina You’ve made me ponder the impact of size of our network vs what tools we favor. Ning posts and Diigo/Delicious shared bookmarks are both excellent information sources the sheer size of my network means that I suffer from extreme overload. TweetML is excellent for creating twitter lists for people and Voicethreads is a great tool.

Keep in mind the good-better-best common sense: 3-5 body pghraaaprs, each with 3-5 details, 3-5 links, 3-5 images/media/links. 3-5 3-5 3-5 Oh, and look closely at the 4 descriptors in the rubric: especially the interprets evidence etc etc and the philosophical blah blah and the quibbling yada yada I like that stuff.Keep in mind writing skills I’ve emphasized in your checklists. Do what I’ve rewarded you for doing all year: write about other’s writing, use metaphor, parallel sentences, mention a good deed, etc.Please spell check and capitalize correctly, please.

Thanks a bunch for the post, I\’ll be linking out to it iihtwn my up coming e-newsletter to my people in the course, the fact is (although a tiny bit off theme, I confess) the longer term of internet business and successful business certainly is the ability of establishments to adjust to the webs commercial infrastructure in a way that will be accepted by their potential customers along with prospects… Retail space might be replaced more frequently by server space and cpu processing cycles…. My own via the internet jewellery internet business has proved that time and time again… Whatever the case fantastic blog post, continue the good work and make your voice heard.

Wow! Thank you so much for sharing this. I was using Copy Link Name (), but this is SO much betetr! CLN would copy the text part, but there were no further options to format the text, or just options period.Now this one is designed in a way that it should be. Just the perfect thing to have. I only wish there were more custom formats. I use a variety of sites where I post links and they all work differently. Well the important thing is that I now have several choices, which is more than I had before.
